Japanese Komai Skakudo Damascene Bracelet | Signed and Stamped Japan | 1920

This circa 1920 exquisite Bracelet is Shakudo. This was originally used for Samurai Sword fitments. Shakudo is an alloy of copper with a small quantity of Gold, pickled in a solution to produce a blue black color, or iron, exquisitely inlaid with silver and gold. Supreme masters of metal work produced these items. This wonderfully treasured gold motif bracelet is marked 925 Sterling and depicts motifs from nature. Very delicate and in perfect original condition. Catch in original working condition and detail. Dimensions: 1-3/4” dia interior and 3-0” dia. to the outside.
