Yasuko Ozeki Pottery Saucer | Taisho Period

Represented are four, (4), very high fashion, pottery saucer / serving plates with pinched rim. Each piece is finished with a shimmering silver lustre glaze on the inside surface, and natural unfinished brown pottery on the exterior. The bowl’s interior silver glaze will fade to a warmer tone over time but can be returned to it’s original condition by polishing, if preferred. The Japanese love to see the aging of the piece and will only wipe out the bowl after each use. Each has an incised stamp on the bottom. Dimension: 4-3/4”dia. x ¾”h.
