Yasuko Ozeki Pottery | Summer Tea Bowl | Taisho Period
Shown is a beautifully formed tea bowl. The finished interior is coated with a shimmering silver lustre glaze on the inside and a brown glaze exterior. The bowl’s interior silver glaze will fade to a warmer tone over time but can be returned to it’s original condition by polishing, if preferred. The Japanese love to see the aging of the piece and will only wipe out the bowl after each use. It has an incised stamp on the bottom representing the maker. Excellent condition. Dimension: 5- 3/8” dia. x 2- 1/8”h.
