Descriptive qualities& condition:

Dimensions: Base – 2-3/4” dia.; Sumo Figures 1-1/2”h

This is an exceptionally unusual set of tops and Sumo wrestling ring with painted impression. Each Sumo is wearing a decorated half skirt, (“Kisho-mawashi”), representing something of the rikishi's heritage, and painted in a varying colors: orange, two in red, green and blue, to assist a player in keeping track of one’s own Sumo. Only two would battle at a time, the winner is either the one spinning last or the last one in the ring in the event the other was spun out or thrown out. Each having a fierce expression with little eyes and a topknot in black, and used to assist in the spinning.

Vintage Condition: Excellent vintage condition with good balance and good sense of proportion and color. Any discoloration, chipping/cracking, surface wear or structural damage is note.
