This pair of Japanese chopstick rests have a wonderful contrasting texture in burnt umber and white glass. These whimsical pieces are hand-made, and an artistic element to support a pair of chopsticks. The Chestnut, (Kuri) is Japan's most ancient fruit and a well-known motif for which artists love to employ their charming and winsome form representing its unpretentious historical base and fruit that was cultivated even before growing rice.
