A valuable overview of Jugtown's legacy & continuing cultural contribution. An excellent book for NC pottery collectors, but the 5 stars come from the fact that my great grandfather is featured on page 35. In the story, he's called Lauren, but his name was actually Lon Brantley. Even though the only role he played in Jacque Busbee's eventual founding of Jugtown was drinking his whiskey, it leaves me with a sense of connection that I grasp with an eager imagination and heart. Jugtown is a magical place that sends one back in time and is an NC cultural icon. Excellent hardcover, Like New condition.
