The Culm, nodal ring, and leaves, including on the top rim of the container, are beautifully carved to simulate all aspects of timber bamboo. The underneath side shows the internodes (bamboo-segment) on the container's interior, which supports a brass insert to hold water to keep the arrangement fresh. The bamboo container has four raised feet incorporated into the body giving it a firm base.
The structure of the flower arrangements used in this type of container is focused on three pillars: asymmetry, space, and depth for which this type of arrangement symbolizes are specifically represents the sky, the earth, and the human, defining art, craft, well-being, and a perfect background to the creative arrangement.
