Offerer is a multi-colored ceramic Maneki-Neko Bank (Also known to collectors as a "still bank" and used to collect coins as a continued savings endeavor). He is wearing a sky blue Haori (Jacket) and yellow striped Hakama (Pants). His jacket closure is red and his face has a bold smile with a happy grin and red nose. His left paw is raised inviting prosperity and new friends, and has long whiskers and red accented ears. The maneki-neko (beckoning cat) is a common Japanese figurine which is often believed to bring happiness and good luck to the owner. The figurine depicts a cat with a paw raised in a Japanese beckoning gesture. The figurines are often displayed in a prominent place typically in the Wealth Corner of a room (the corner that is on the right far side when entering the door of a room). This wonderful figure comes sitting on a Brocade gold cushion made to honor this historic figure and to symbolize having a “cushioned lifestyle”, (a life characterized by comfort, ease, and reduced stress). There is a plug on the bottom to remove coins that have been deposited in the slit on the back of his head.
