Vintage Japanese Walnut Amulet (Toggle)

This toggle shows the two-sided walnut in which the inside represents both sexes being a metaphorical or symbolic symbol often used to represent the center of affection, love, intimate relationship, and fidelity. It is a form of tying the knot (mizuhiki). It is typically worn on clothing as a decorative element, or on a bag to notify others that the person is committed to another. Only three sets left.
