Japanese Antique Bone Carved Brooch

Dimensions: 1-1/8”h x 2-1/8”w x 1/8”d

This Japanese antique brooch detailing chrysanthemum ray florets surrounding the bloom head in a rectangle shape. Realistic with high relief carving from one piece of bone having a lovely light 'patina' that adds a slight yellowish patination. Unmarked as related to the quality of the original silver tone  “C” clasp.

Condition: Excellent, wonderful care given to an aged piece. Wonderful for its intended purpose and a handsome, lightweight brooch with great detail.
