Sosaku Kokeshi entitled: “Shiraume | White Plum” by Onodera, Kouraku
Dimensions: 12-1/4” h
In celebration of the Japanese Plum, each doll has been beautifully ornamented with the branches celebrating spring’s arrival. This tall and slender Kijiyama style figure complement the incorporation of the tree branches reaching for the sun. Thin lines of the branches, combined with thinner internal lines, and colorful flowers, define the three-dimensional shape.
Vintage Condition: “as is” with some scattered light wear or stain that does not affect the design, and retains the original craft/workmanship. Any discoloration, chipping/cracking, surface wear, or structural damage is noted.
