This highly polished Zitan wood stand is truly unique with its Lotus motif and heavily carved in an oval form. This beautiful, ornate and well made piece is carved throughout the body with floral leaf foliage design then polished. It was originally made for a precious object. The base that would hold the object is recessed to support a small object of art.
Vintage Condition: Exceptional with great detailing and finish. “As is”, and retains the original craft/workmanship. Any discoloration, chipping/cracking, surface wear or structural damage noted.
